Jan 26, 2001 TEL Announces New Company Name- Tokyo Electron AT LimitedTokyo Electron Limited (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; C.E.O., President: Tetsuro Higashi) announced on October 11, 2000, a merger (effective from April 1, 2001) between Tokyo Electron Yamanashi Limited (Head Office: Nirasaki City, Yamanashi Prefecture; President: Yasuo Inoue) and Tokyo Electron Miyagi Limited (Head Office: Matsushima-machi, Miyagi Prefecture; President: Masao Kubodera), both wholly-owned development and production subsidiaries, and is issuing this press release to announce its decision on the name of the new company.
